Morning Wts Starts Tomorrow

As we all know… It’s never too late to get started prepping for the season. With this in mind we want to start out Morning Weights Program that is open to all HS athletes and 7/8th graders as well, to help for Spring ball and our summer lifting program. These opportunities will start tomorrow morning, April 3rd, and go every M/W/F morning in April through May and possibly into June, if numbers are high. The workouts will run from 6:30-7:30am and will be a comprehensive training program that includes both Strength and SAQ components. Proper techniques and safety will be stressed while using a progressive system to prep the body for the summer work.

Please enter through the outside door to the weight room located on the Grass field side of the building in the back of the school. When you come in please introduce yourself then enter your name, grade & school info into the computer so I can keep track of who has participated. Be ready to workout with good athletic gear and shoes and I would also bring some water. Before we lift it’s a good idea to try and eat something, not too big though and no milk products though as that can cause dry mouth.

OK, excited to get this started! Also remember every Tues/Thur morning from 7-7:30am, we have our SAQ workouts that are open to everyone! Hope to see you there!
