WK #9 - Jesuit Week

22 Oct 2018 by Bob Boyer

Last week was a rollercoaster of emotions. A big win for the FR/SO Team, Senior Night and a tough loss for the Varsity where although our kids played hard, we fell just short.

Every Thursday afternoon & Friday night our boys step out onto those fields and take a risk. A risk that many would not or can not take. They risk it all trying to get the win. If you win, everyone loves you, people are happy and you can do no wrong. If you lose its just the opposite; you suck, why didn’t you do this you should have done that. But honestly the biggest risk in life is never taking that risk. Just sitting back and watching others explore their potential dealing with the outcome the best they can is not a risk, its safety and the lack of growth. Taking that Risk is where our true strengths lie, developing the inner strength to take on new challenges and to bounce back after defeat. I am proud of our players, as no matter the outcome of the past game, they come to practice the next Monday ready to go!

OK… lets get after it this week fellas and see what we can accomplish!

The week at a glance -

Monday – 2:50 Wts Practice 4:10

Tuesday – 2:50 MTGs Practice 4:10

Wednesday – 2:50 Wts, JV Walk through 3:40 Practice 4:10

Thursday – JV Game 4:15, Varsity @ MD 2:50

Friday – Varsity Game Time 7:00 @ Jesuit

Alright fellas lets have a focused week and get ready for a big game for us!

ALL IN,

Coach Boyer
