IT’S PLAYOFF TIME – Wow, what a great ending to the season last Friday night demonstrating our competitive spirit and hard work! Over the past few weeks we have had to deal with season ending injuries, sickness, casts, concussions and many other hurdles to success but we came through it with a great performance against Jesuit and 2 wins that secured us a playoff spot. What a ride it has been. For the JV’s, finishing with a 7-2 record after facing the same issues has really brightened our prospects for next year. Without having of FROSH program, our freshmen got into many games and showed so much strength and improvements working with the JV and Varsity teams in practice.

I am so proud of our program as a whole and what we have accomplished this season. HATS OFF to our coaches, our players and everyone involved!!!

Now… on to the playoffs! Over the past 3 weeks we have jumped 12 spots in the rankings to 26 and will face Sheldon in the first round. We will play at Sheldon HS in Eugene, game time 7pm. The team will be leaving around 2:45 Friday afternoon and returning home after the game, probably around 12:30 or 1pm. The OSAA limits us to the number of players we can dress down for the playoffs so this weekend we will be putting that list together and then posting it on Monday. I wish we could dress everyone but that is just not a possibility. Soon we will also put out information regarding our JV end of year gathering to celebrate their great efforts. Also all gear return will be done after the Varsity teams season comes to a completion.
